What We Can Achieve Together:
Together with YKAN, The Operations Manager oversees all operational functions, including procurement, facilities, assets, vehicles, office operations, and workplace safety and security. The role ensures consistent implementation of YKAN policies, SOPs, and health and safety standards across all offices, projects, and sites, while providing overall direction to operations teams. The position also coordinates volunteer programs, when applicable, and ensures compliance with safeguarding and safety protocols.

The Operations Manager supports YKAN’s strategic priorities by leading and coordinating operational planning, overseeing daily operations, and contributing to the development of the operations strategy. The role manages key functions including procurement, facilities, assets and vehicles, office operations, contracts and sub-grants, as well as safety and security. The position ensures compliance with YKAN policies, SOPs, donor and partner requirements, and provides consistent operational direction, coordination, and capacity building across all offices, sites, and projects.
This position is based in Jakarta and reports to the Director of Finance and Operations.

What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent combination, including 2 years managing operations functions of the organizations with multiple projects and diverse funding, in multiple geographical locations.
• Experience managing and implementing multiple projects;
• Experience generating operations, and analyzing and interpreting data;
• Experience developing and administering departmental budget or equivalent;
• Experience negotiating agreements;
• Experience supervising staff, interns, and/or volunteers; and
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience handling confidential information;
• Fluency in English, verbal and in writing.
